Modern, yet traditional. That's how you could describe the newly reopened fishing campsite near the historically significant Catalan town of Almatret, on the left bank of the lower reservoir, near the monumental unfinished cement factory. It features in every photo of the reservoir, though today it's slowly being swallowed up by the surrounding nature. 

At our campsite, we've prepared comfortable facilities for anglers, but not only for them. Electricity here is supplied from the public grid, so you won't be disturbed by the noise of generators, as is often the case elsewhere. We've boosted the phone signal and covered the campsite with accessible wifi. 

We've also thought about safety and ecology. A drainage channel protects against flooding from heavy rain off the surrounding hills, safely carrying away any excess rainfall. A modern wastewater treatment plant takes care of waste water. 

The area around the Riba Roja reservoir also offers plenty of new cycling routes, hiking enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy too, and the accessible distance to the monumental Pyrenees or beautiful sea beaches is a real invitation to visit. If you don't want to just relax by the sea, we can arrange an adrenaline-filled tuna fishing trip for you!

Accommodation
Accommodation at our campsite is available in wooden cabins of four categories; you can also come with your own caravan or motorhome, and if you just want a tent pitch, that's no problem either. Phone signal and wifi are available at the campsite. You might wonder why we mention this, but anyone who knows the local area understands.

Refreshments and dining
For your comfortable stay at the campsite, a tastefully renovated, stylish outdoor bar is fully at your disposal, offering a varied selection of soft and alcoholic drinks, excellent coffee, Czech or Spanish draught beer and local snacks. If you'd like meals arranged, our newly built campsite kitchen will prepare cold or hot breakfasts, lunch, or something tasty for dinner. We also have a fully equipped grill available for rent (an electric grill for the summer season, a charcoal grill for the winter season – the exact period of use for each type of grill is determined according to the fire risk level declared by the National Park Administration). 

Celebrations and parties
Would you like to host a birthday celebration, a company party, or a gathering of friends right on the bank of the Ebro river, surrounded by greenery and a peaceful setting? We're happy to arrange these events for you too – Czech and Spanish dishes are a speciality of our kitchen.

Fishing guide services
If you're interested in fishing with an experienced local fishing guide, we're happy to arrange one for you by prior agreement. Our local guides know the best fishing spots as well as the habits and behaviour of the fish perfectly, and with them by your side you can more easily land the catch of your life.

We're happy to give you fishing advice
Don't have enough experience fishing on the Ebro and would welcome advice from an angler familiar with local conditions? In that case, our staff member, who knows the local water perfectly, is ready to help and share their experience, recommending things like a good fishing spot, bait choice and the right fishing method.

For anyone visiting our campsite just briefly, or who simply doesn't want to transport everything needed for fishing, we offer a fishing equipment rental service covering all fishing techniques. Quality equipment from renowned brands at symbolic prices!
