What fish can you catch at Almaebre camp?

On the Ebro River by the camp you can catch catfish, zander, carp, perch and black bass. The lower Riba-Roja reservoir is known for its large fish.

Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat?

Boats with engines up to 15 HP (MARINE, LUGAFO) can be rented without a licence. The more powerful TRACKER and LURE boats require a boat licence.

Can I come with my own caravan or tent?

Yes. The camp has paved pitches for caravans and motorhomes with electricity hook-up and sanitary facilities. You can also pitch a tent.

Can you fish non-stop at night by the camp?

Yes. The camp is on the Catalan side, where the rules allow non-stop fishing 24 hours a day and bivouacking right on the reservoir bank.

Greetings from Almaebre!
We were thinking about how to make your winter stays at our campsite more enjoyable, and it occurred to us that after a full day outside fishing, it would be wonderful to warm up a little. Today we installed this beautiful steam sauna for you, and we think that combined with our well-stocked bar, everything is perfectly set up for great evenings! What do you think? Our fleet will soon be joined by a beautiful five-metre boat, the Lure 16. It's a really very stable and reliable boat that offers plenty of space on its large deck and is fitted with a very powerful 40HP Mercury engine. Its equipment also includes a MotorGuide bow electric motor, and a perfect overview of what's happening below the surface is provided by a quality Garmin Echomap sonar connected to the unique Garmin Panoptix LiveScope system.

The VIP cabin Aurora has been fully equipped according to our vision, and we believe to your full satisfaction. New modern furniture and all the other practical equipment in the cabin ensure maximum comfort for your stay. The cabin offers plenty of space for 4 guests, and if needed, the sofa in the living area can also be unfolded into another comfortable bed.

In mid-June 2022, we were finally able to present the new look of the campsite to the public, local residents, suppliers and all the good people who took part in the campsite's rebirth. We are delighted with the campsite that has been reborn here, and we are truly proud of it. The first reactions from visitors have been great!

All that remained was to furnish the cabins and welcome the first visitors. What do you think of the standard cabins Lola and Teresa? They offer plenty of space and comfort. Spring 2022. When new asphalt internal roads were built at the campsite and new site lighting was installed, we couldn't wait for nightfall to switch it on for the first time… The view is amazing! Now this fantastic place has its own beauty at night too.

The original bar is practically new, with marble counters, refrigeration and all other necessary equipment in place. What a change! A brand new professionally equipped kitchen has also been built at the campsite. We've done our best for your taste buds, relaxation and good times.

Summer 2021. Once all the groundworks were completed, we could begin implementing the new look of the campsite. The original cabins and bar had been renovated, new caravan parking areas were ready, and construction of the new cabins could begin. The future face of the campsite was starting to take shape.

2. In February 2021 we began the renovation. New utility lines, water, drainage, electricity, a wastewater treatment plant, groundworks according to the new project, renovation of the existing cabins and bar. In short, everything from scratch. A lot of work, but the vision of a new traditional campsite kept us moving forward.

When we took over the campsite in November 2020, after several years of closure it was completely devastated, neglected and stripped of everything of value. Anyone who knew this beautiful place in the past would have wept… We knew a great deal of work lay ahead of us, but this magical place deserved to once again welcome the people who love it.
