After several years of inactivity, the much-loved fishing campsite near the Catalan town of Almatret is available to you once again. Right on the bank of the magical Riba Roja reservoir on the legendary Rio Ebro river – Almaebre campsite is back! Traditional, yet more modern, eco-friendly, better equipped and safer.

Many of you literally loved this campsite in the past; for a lot of you it was close to your heart. After its closure in 2017 it fell into disrepair, suffered raids by thieves and vandals, and it looked as though this magical place with its special atmosphere might never be restored. But we managed it!

We are proud that we can now invite you once again to a completely new campsite, in which, however, we managed to preserve its original soul. Peace and quiet, a beautiful setting, magnificent nature typical of the lower reservoir, and unforgettable experiences. That is what Almaebre fishing campsite always was, is again, and will forever be. Welcome back!
